Picking up bikes and ferry trip all very easy to follow. Bikes transported separately on the ferry, staff did a very good job of on and off loading the bikes in a speedy manner. The sun was out and the island has plenty of hills so being older we bikes the shorter route then parked the bikes and got the hop on hop off bus around the island. We stopped off and swam at Salmon Bay. A lovely day. If you have googled Quokka selfies prior to going, it’s highly unlikely that you will get one unless you spend the whole day trying and you have help. Fun trying though.
Rottnest Island is truly one of the most beautiful islands I have ever visited. We cycled around the whole island visiting stunning beaches and bays. We got an amazing selfie with a quokka and watched seals lapping you the sun at the west end of the island. A flight around the island and drinks at Pinky’s was the perfect way to finish a perfect day. The tour company were fantastically organised and great value for money. Highly recommend!
From start to finish everything ran smoothly. Pick up at the hotel on time and information related to us by the drive good and straight forward. On arrival at the harbor it was easy to collect our bikes and catch the boat with the service by the staff great and helpful. On arrival at the island all was straight forward and riding round the island a delite.
Rottnest island is stunning! The bikes we hired were really good but I was disappointed from the stuff. They should tell us that we need enough water and that you can refill your waterbottle only on particular spots. So if you go there bring enough water.
Wondered what I’d paid for as I paid for the trip but then had to pay an extra 19 dollars plus I thought I’d paid for snorkelling equipment but didn’t get any I guess I paid for transport to the harbour and the boat ? I enjoyed my day there though
