Discover where the tectonic plates of two continents are in constant movement.  Make a quick stop at Laugarvatn village and at Efstidalur farm to get a glimpse of the local life of the area. Then, head to the Strokkur geyser which erupts every five minutes at Geysir geothermal area. Your guide will pick you up at a hotel, guesthouse or a close bus stop in Reykjavik and after you will head on this awesome journey. Thingvellir national park is the first stop. This is where we got our independence, this is where we took Christianity, first church in Iceland was built there and this is where the 2 tectonic plates that Iceland is located on, move apart from each other. Thingvellir is not only a nature beauty, but this place is filled with historical events throughout Icelands history. While you are in Iceland, there is a “must do” to try all the authentic Iceland has to offer. You get the chance to visit an Icelandic geothermal bakery. There you will have a guided tour where you learn how the settlers and people for centuries used our geothermal energy to bake bread in it. You get to see how our sweet rye bread is baked for hours and even have a taste of it with a smoked Icelandic Trout. After this nice visit, you will continue over to the world famous one and only Geysir. Why do I say ,,one and only”? That´s because this nature phenomena called Geyser, comes originally from this one in Iceland. Do you know what every Icelander is proud of? The iconic Gullfoss waterfall. Standing there and marvelling at this beautiful waterfall is absolutely breathtaking. The water in this waterfall runs from Iceland second biggest glacier, Langjökull glacier. If you are wondering how to dress for this activity, we always send out emails the day before how the weather is going to be. But we highly recommend bringing a rain gear to Iceland. You will be picked up from your hotel in Reykjavik and be taken on a short journey to the quad biking base camp. There your guide will make sure you get all the safety and driving instruction you need. No experience necessary – so all are welcome. You’ll begin by feeling the roar of your ATV as you freely explore the otherworldly Icelandic wilderness on a 1 hour ATV adventure from Reykjavik. Throw down the throttle as you pass over rocky lava terrain tracks to the shores of Hafravatn Lake, and accelerate the pace of your heart as you race to the summit of Hafrafell Mountain. At the peak, you’ll take in unforgettable panoramic views of Reykjavík and mythical mountain ranges in the distance before a thrilling descent.  After your thrilling ATV tour, you will raft down the Hvítá River and enjoy Icelandic nature in a different way. Cruise down the great glacier river running all the way from Langjökull Glacier, Iceland’s second biggest glacier, and take in the incomparable surroundings that the roaring river has created over the years, with Brúarhlöð Canyon as one of the highlights. The canyon has grand rock formations and portholes and you can see how the water has sculptured the breccia walls. Hvítá River also feeds the grand waterfall, Gullfoss, which is one of the most visited attractions in Iceland. After the raft, you can relax in the sauna at Drumbó, enjoy a grilled lamb meal in our restaurant, or have a drink at the bar.

Benefit from pickup at your hotel, and then travel in a small group to marvel at the geothermal landscapes of Iceland's Golden Circle. Go for a nature walk in Þingvellir National Park, where the American and Eurasian tectonic plates are pulling apart.  Continue to the spectacular Gullfoss Waterfall on the Hvítá River, fed by the Langjökull glacier. Move on to the hot springs areas of Geysir and gaze in wonder as the Strokkur geyser erupts every 3 to 8 minutes. Break for lunch at one of the many restaurants in the area.  Take breathtaking photos of the small waterfall of Faxi on the Tungufljót River, and then relax in the healing waters of the Secret Lagoon, the oldest geothermal pool in Iceland.
