After riding for another hour, you'll arrive at the stables and then sit down for a delicious traditional Cretan lunch, including homemade wine. After lunch, have a seat out in the garden of the farm, help yourself to some more wine, or enjoy a few more minutes of riding. At about 1:15 PM, you will head back to your hotel or apartment.

What people are saying about Heraklion Regional Unit

Beautiful and personalized tour of the Cretan countryside! The whole team is incredibly friendly and helpful. Thanks to the ebikes, even longer climbs are not a major problem for those who are not quite so fit; nevertheless, one should have current experience in handling the bicycle in order to avoid dangerous situations. There were plenty of stops in between for explanations and hydration (provided with backpacks for the ride) as well as including a meal at a cute taverna in a smaller village. Our tour guide also took photos during the trip, which will be sent to us at no extra cost. He himself had a lot of experience when it came to MTB and always kept an eye on all participants; the most important thing was that the participants could experience the tour safely and have fun. In this respect, a clear recommendation for Cycling Creta and greetings to Stelios!

A great time for experienced and beginner riders. pre arranged travel is a must though, and it being a farm bug repellent is a good choice. The staff were very friendly and their instructions were helpful, and they accompanied us in case there was any issues. The horses themselves were extremely patient with us (special thank you to Angela Merkel) with many of us making mistakes riding them but they did not mind. A break at the top for a light snack and photos with the view was amazing. Great hospitality all round, especially when we had a travel issue, couldn't thank them enough for the extra mile they went to help us :)

Unforgettable experience! Irene was very nice and flexible, provided many suggestions that could suit us better. Everything went smoothly. Horse riding seems to be intimidating, but believe it’s not. It is, instead, a very nice sport you can do before going to beach and relax. The dinner was homemade and heartwarming. Everyone got full with satisfaction. I’ll definitely come back next time I come to Crete!

What a lovely family! Irene and her father Gregory are so welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. I’d definitely recommend a visit to this place.

Lots of fun and the host was such a great person too
