Depart on a boat for Chrissi Island, and cross the Libyan Sea to this stunning and uninhabited island. Admire the colors of the water and relax on the journey. Once you arrive, take your time to discover the natural landscape, dive from the boat, and swim in the clear and clean waters of the island. Look out at the white sand beaches and view the millions of small shells that litter the beaches. Take the option to purchase lunch onboard the boat, and ask your guide in advance to get a discounted price. Next, enjoy some free time to walk along the beautiful beach road and feel relaxed in a place that isn't inhabited by humans.

This is the ideal diving course for those who want to try scuba diving but do not have a diving certificate. Enjoy a pre-dive lesson and always be accompanied by a certified instructor. Begin your day with the basic theory on diving and the skills necessary to do so. You will then move on to real-life diving under the supervision of a certified instructor. During the dive, you will have the opportunity to explore the bottom of the sea in Agia Pelagia, learn the basic commands, and get the chance to observe up-close the fish and sea creatures living near the seabed.

Embark on an adventure and experience this scuba activity suitable for first-timers. Enjoy 45 minutes of theoretical training and 45 minutes inside the water.  Learn from a local experienced and licensed instructor who will teach you how to breathe and move underwater. This entry-level program is the best way to try scuba diving for the first time, as no prior experience is required. It is addressed to the whole family and introduces you to the underwater world in shallow waters and absolutely safe environment. You will learn the basic skills of scuba diving, before you get a chance to explore the amazing underwater world, always well looked after by one of our passionate instructors.

Start your scuba adventure in the sunny Mediterranean sea, with the SSI Open Water Diver program. Have some fun in the sun in Mononaftis beach, on the northern coast of Crete, and work towards a certification that lets you dive anywhere in the world. Join an international class with a multilingual instructor, and enjoy 2-3 action-packed days of diving and making friends. Online training is combined with 4 in-water practice sessions to ensure you have the skills and experience to feel fully comfortable when geared-up in the water. The SSI online training program lets you study at your own pace. You can complete the academics online when you sign up, and then attend review sessions at the Dive Center in Crete. In the water, you’ll experience everything you learned through the online sessions, hands-on and head-first. After your open water dives and passing the final exam, you’ll be a certified diver. The SSI Open Water Diver certification is recognized worldwide, so your diving possibilities are limitless. Take some time to explore the rest of the island, or head off on your next adventure.

Open to those with a second level diving qualification, enjoy a night dive in one the best locations for marine life in Crete. Dive after sunset at Mononaftis Beach with flashlights to observe the active marine life during the night.   With two instructor guides to assist you underwater, see and observe beautiful fish, octopus, and other marine life. The dive lasts 45-50 minutes at a maximum depth of 18m for safety reasons.

Enjoy a diving excursion at BYRON I shipwreck at Kaloi Limenes beach in South Crete. On January 17, 1985 BYRON I strayed 15 meters to the bottom of the sea and was cut in the middle due to bad weather. You can explore this magnificent shipwreck together with a certified instructor. Get into complete diving gear and discover beautiful underwater marine life. See the remains of the cargo ship from a very close distance. This activity is designed to extend the practicality of the divers of each level through a supervised and controlled dive using a self-contained breathing apparatus on the open sea in a shipwreck. Start your tour at 9 AM with a 1-hour drive to the diving site. Upon arrival, prepare the diving equipment and dive to the shipwreck at a 15-meter depth for 45 minutes. After the adventure, enjoy lunch at a local tavern. At the end of the tour, be transferred back to your hotel.

Discover a shipwreck during 2 scuba dives with an instructor. Head over to Kaloi Limenes Beach, gear up, and swim through the now bustling aquatic life living around the cargo ship wreck. Tuck into local snacks in between your dives, reenergizing yourself. Drive through varying landscapes, past mountains and traditional villages before arriving at Kaloi Limenes Beach, where the "Byron I" cargo ship wreck is laying down on the sea floor. During your dive briefing learn the history of the wreck. The "Byron I" was a cargo ship carrying 11,000 tons of sugar. On January 17, 1985 the ship sunk in bad weather conditions, dropping its sugary cargo around it. Luckily, the crew managed to survive and was saved from the wreck. Nowadays. this 100-meter ship wreck is home to divers aquatic life, from groupers to octopuses, and from moray eels to lionfish, and more. Dive in crystal clear waters with great visibility, making this dive site a unique place for underwater photography. Tuck into a delicious local snack with fruits and drinks between your 2 dives, and enjoy a debrief with your instructor after both dives, as your dive log is filled out.
