Great experience learning how to make 3 different types of Cretan bread, and the recipes to take away afterwards. It wasn't as completely hands on as I would have liked, but I still managed to try kneading the breads too, and had some tasty food to eat afterwards, so enjoyable overall! I finished my day with a Greek coffee, cheese and olive oil in the coffee shop with my fresh baked bread. The trip also included history of Crete and how people used to live, including the museum. Not being a fan of museums I wasn't excited to do this part, but actually I really enjoyed learning about how people used to live only a few decades ago, really interesting. Would recommend this experience.
Nice visit to the recreated traditional Crete village and museum. The cooking class was exceptional! We ate the food afterwards and were given a recipe booklet. Highly recommend and well worth it!
Master baker Maria was ready with all ingredients necessary to make 3 different breads. Our guide, Evi, translated and we can try our new skills at home now. Thank you Eleni for printed recipes.
It was great Miss Maria was such a nice lady making the bread was fun, and the lady that gave us a tour was really nice as well(don’t remember her name)
