What people are saying about Heraklion

Angela and I came to Crete for our thanksgiving break looking for fun activities to do and we found scuba diving. We’ve never done it before and we’re both pretty nervous to do it, but our instructor Ioannis Almpantakis was the best. He gave us all the information we needed for our first time and was very patient with us. This was by far one of the best experiences of our lives. He is a great leader and you can tell he was very passionate about his job. If you get the chance to scuba dive definitely do it!

My boyfriend and I loved this experience everything was perfect. The instructors picked us up at the hotel and then we arrived on site, the instructors speak several languages, it's great to understand and they accompany us throughout the dive. There was a monitor for 2 people and it was great! They also take pictures and take the time to show us sea urchins and starfish. It was the first dive for us and we really loved it, I recommend to any beginner it's relaxed and there is no risk

I recommend this excursion which was one of our best memories of this vacation. We were able to swim to the island twice (watch out for the rocks, bring shoes). The water was turquoise blue as advertised. It was magnificent, a heavenly landscape. If you want to have good seats on the boat, you have to arrive early. If you want to visit the city of Ierapetra, it is better to plan another time (we did not have time). Finally, hotel pickup and drop-off is very convenient.

The instructors were "on the ball" -responding well to the issues that arose for me in my first dive. I felt very safe.

The water was absolutely unreal. A must-do while travelling through Crete.
