Loved our Athens classics e-bike tour. Excellent, friendly & knowledgable tour guide who did our tour in English using the in ear mic system. Due to a cancellation we ended up having a personal bike tour, just the three of us (including guide). A great route on excellent Bosch mid-motor electric bikes visiting some of the top sites and districts in Athens. All on bike friendly roads & pavements. Plenty of time to stop off and take photos. Lots of commentary from guide and time for questions too. I would definitely recommend this tour & company for a great way of seeing parts of Athens that you can then revisit later. Thanks for helping to make our last day in Athens fun & for being such courteous hosts. ♀️♂️
My husband and I were glad we did this tour. Four hours is not too long. Costas kept us engaged with his many stories about the Gods. We walked about 4 miles, but it didn't feel like it. There are opportunities to rest. The climb up the hill can be challenging and it's worth it. Our group was a nice size of about 18 people. It made it easy to hear. We also enjoyed chatting with the other tourists. We bought the combo ticket for entry into the sites. The only downside with the ticket is that you can't use it again to enter the sites later on. This is a great tour and we'll worth your time.
This was a fantastic tour. Our guide, Sotiris, was very personable, knowledgeable and easy going. The riding pace was leisurely with lots of stops to take picturesque photos and chat about all things Greek. The bikes were easy to use and worked flawlessly. A great way to see the old city with all the major monuments lite up. Highly recommend this tour. Excellent value!
The guide (Kelly) was very good in telling the stories, which made the 4 hours pass by very quickly. I didn't want it to end. You do have to buy the entrance tickets to all the sites yourself (not included in the tour) which is 30 euros. So everything together it's almost 100 euros per person, which I think is quite expensive.
Definitely was worth it to do this iconic landmark with a guide to gather the background information and insights. It would simply not have been the same experience just walking through by myself. It was a bit pricey but you have to ask yourself, how often are you in Athens and can experience the Ancient World firsthand.
