Snorkeling was amazing! Highly recommend. John was a terrific kayak guide and so knowledgeable about the Maui coast, culture and helped make the experience fantastic. We saw beautiful sea turtles and loads of fish. the coral reefs he brought us to were a quiet place with no other groups or boat activity. The day before we snorkeled off a boat with 50 people and saw little. As long as you can take instruction and are able to paddle with another person (all our boats were 2 people kayaks) Go for it!

When we got there the company did not have our reservation and they were fully booked. There were people that did not show up for their reservation and we were able to get on the excursion, but if everyone had shown up then we would have been out of luck. Overall the excursion was good!

We were slightly disappointed when we realized that we weren’t going to Molokini Crater. I wonder if that’s why they put OR Coral Gardens. I wonder if they ever go as it would be tough to get to the crater and back in 3 hours. I feel like it was a bit misleading. Snorkel was good once we got there which was a short boat ride away. Lots of fish but we could see the same ones snorkeling on our own. Lunch and snacks were provided which was nice but the crater was on our bucket list which still remains.
