The food was excellent, and it was great to have the ocean as a drop backdrop. My only concern is that there was way too much downtime, chitchatting about birthdays and anniversaries, and just mindless stuff. For the money spent, I would’ve liked more entertainment. The dancers, when they did perform, owas enjoyable.

The luau was the crown jewel of our Christmas in Hawaii. The experience, hospitality, food, and entertainment were all perfect. Even though we were a large group, we were treated very well. The food was delicious; every part of it was so tasteful. The entertainment was top notch. It is apparent the dancers rehearse in order to give us the best experience possible. Lastly, the venue was breathtaking. The views were 360 degrees of amazing beauty.

I have experienced better luaus. My previous time included a portrait with authentic dancers. The luau at Royal Kona Resort was a portrait of just family members oceanside. Food was good. I disliked the mai Tai drinks . I have had better! Performers were excellent!
