Full description

Discover Hawaii's Big Island on an ATV tour. Learn about the cultures of Fiji, Samoa, Hawaii, and Tonga, drive through a Rainbow Eucalyptus tree grove, and taste coconut water.

Upon arrival at the meeting point and getting geared up, listen to a quick safety briefing before setting off on your adventure. If you do not feel comfortable driving an ATV or are under 16, enjoy a ride as a passenger in a 6-seater UTV driven by the tour guide.  Kick-off your tour with a drive through an award-winning coffee farm and transition into a grove of Rainbow Eucalyptus trees before entering the jungle. Drive your fully automatic ATV on trails to reach Hawaii, Fiji, and Tonga. At each stop, play games to learn about each island's culture.

Finally, make your way to the last island of Samoa. Learn about traditional culture, watch a coconut demonstration and taste the coconut water. Afterward, travel back down the mountain and admire beautiful views of Kailua-Kona and the Kona coast.

The tour was a lot of fun. The terrain was quite rocky so there wasn’t a real opportunity to play and go fast. They were pretty explicit about no horseplay. The educational component was wonderful and really added a lot of texture to our trip. The only disappointing part was not really being able to let loose on the ATVs. It was more of a comfort tour.

Our tour guide was amazing! He was very helpful, funny, & knowledgeable on history of the the islands. All 4 in our group had a great (& dirty) time! I highly recommend wearing pants, the googles that are optional, & a face mask as it can be dusty from dirt flying up.

This was an interesting way to see the sights and learn about the polynesian culture. The kids and husband loved using the ATV's, me not so much. i got on the vehcile with the guide and enjoyed the conversation and information about coffee growing, flowers and animals, and just the way of life. An excellent, entertaining activity. The stop at Tanga was the best; we haven't laughed that hard in a while.
