The adventure begins with pickup from your hotel in an American Old-Timer and heads towards the Finca Vigia, the former home of Ernest Hemingway and now a museum dedicated to his life. Admire the fascinating array of items inside the museum, and learn about the incredible life of this Nobel Prize winning author.
Continue onto Cojimar next and enjoy a panoramic tour of this charming fisherman’s town. Journey back to Havana onboard La Lanchita de Casablanca, a typical ferryboat that locals use to cross over the Bay of Havana.
Upon arrival in Old Havana, enjoy a well deserved rest and a refreshing mojito at the popular La Bodeguita de Medio, followed by an authentic Cuban lunch. After lunch, stop at Room 511 at the Ambos Mundos Hotel where Hemingway often stayed during his time in Cuba. Soak up the historic literary atmosphere of the hotel, where Hemingway finished his novel ‘Death in The Afternoon’ (1932), among others.
