What people are saying about Havana
Very enjoyable day. Very beautiful scenery.
Jesus my driver was a nice guy but he had hardly any English so communication was a bit difficult. Fortunately, Marilyn my guide at Viñales spoke good English. The tour started with a horse ride to a place where I learned about cigar production (and smoked one), as well as coffee bean, rum and honey production; all very interesting. I had a tasty lunch at a finca with locally grown food, although I thought it was far too much for one person; the views here were spectacular. Next came a boat trip in an underground cave, a visit to a gigantic, brightly-coloured, mural depicting prehistoric animals, and a visit to a botanic garden containing many varieties of flowers and fruit. I was impressed with this tour because I saw some beautiful countryside and saw how different products are made, and the local people were very friendly. I would have preferred if the tour was just a bit shorter; I didn't leave Viñales until nearly 6pm and there was still a long journey ahead of me.
We had 8 people so two classic cars with two drivers and a guide they showed up at 7:30 right on time introduce him self (Daniel ) and told us that he was our guide for the day and that he was here to get the most from our day and that he would stop at any place we asked him to . When we left the car to go see sights he came with us and gave us all kinds of historic information . Stops at a nice small place drinking establishments and a very nice lunch . And a quick stop at a market then for the ride home . For the trip home Danial traded cars so the people who were riding in it could here some of his stories and tell them about the the items we went buyWe arrived back to the hotel at 6 PM . I believe that Danial went over and above to ensure that we were thrilled with his service and always was watching to keep us close to get her
We had an amazing experience in Vinales. This tour is a must when visiting Cuba. Our driver Oneil was nice and picked us up promptly from Havana. He also showed us places along the way. Our tour was well organized. Our tour guide Marilyn is very knowledgeable and made this trip memorable for us. We really enjoyed the Murals, the Cave and the boat tour. Thank you Marilyn!!!! Our 2 hour horseback ride was unforgettable. It was an awesome ride with an amazing view of the valley. Saw different crops along the way, and also visited the tobacco plantation along with the coffee tour. We also had the best lunch with a view!!! I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cuba.
This was an amazing tour. I highly recommend going on this tour to learn more about the fascinating city of Havana. My tour guide Eddie spoke excellent English and was able to connect what I was seeing with some historical facts and cultural meanings. He was able to answer all of my random questions and catered the tour to what I was interested in seeing. Book this tour for the 1st full day of your trip and it might change the rest of your visit. We drove around in Eddie’s old car which was a treat and talked about life and Havana.
It was an excellent experience especially
It was an excellent experience, especially the visit to the tobacco plantation and the lunch at this beautiful location where locals served their farm grown food. Our driver was great, but neither he or the guide could speak English very well and we did book an English speaking tour. Thank God for Alex at the Tobacco Farm who was able to translate things for us.
