To enter the grotto, you have to take a rowing boat or kayak through a 100-meter-long and 3-meter-wide arch with heights of 2.5 – 4 meters.

Once passing under the arch, you can feast your eye on sheer limestone cliffs rising up from the emerald water. Here, you can let your hair down and explore the diverse ecology system. You may spot brazen monkeys climbing the cliffs and fragrant orchids thriving in rocky outcrops.

Explore Cua Van Floating Village by Bamboo Boat. Immerse yourself in the peaceful atmosphere at the ancient Floating Village in a small bamboo boat, surrounded by the rocky mountains.

The afternoon excursion heads for Pearl Farm, which is located near the fishing village. Here, you will find how long it takes for pearls to grow, harvest, and extract. We had a wonderful time at Ha Long Bay. We were collected from our hotel and brought to Ha Long in a lovely, spacious bus that we were able to sleep on. Once we arrived on the boat we were welcomed with lunch before heading to our rooms. The room was beautifully decorated (with obvious stunning views). Kayaking was great fun. The highlight of the trip for us was going to Cat Ba island and cycling to Viet Hai village. Definitely would recommend cycling and not taking the electric car, as you just can’t beat the amazing experience of being surrounded by the breathtaking countryside (definitely bring bug spray). Breakfast buffet was really enjoyable. Brunch, Lunch and dinner was all a set menu with an abundance of food - you won’t go hungry. Staff was very nice and always on hand to answer any questions!
