Sonny was a great guide. He was extremely informative and very friendly. The trip itself took up the whole day! We got on the bus at 7am and we’re dropped back by 7pm The temples were very cool to see. The best part was the bamboo boats floating through the Trong An river - it was incredible! The 1000 steps up Mua mountain was pretty spectacular too. I am extremely tired from the long day!

This is a must if you are visiting Vietnam! It was quite a long drive from Hanoi but well worth it. The views are amazing and the boat ride through the longest cave was impressive. Although we have been a little concerned about the corona virus, our guide said we were quite lucky it was so slow. Usually there is over an hour wait for the boats. We must have seen only a dozen or so on the water. Also, February is quite cool so pack a rain coat and warm jacket (think an average day in San Francisco 50s 60s F).
