The tour itself was good, but for the amount of money we pay for these tours, the local guides only get like $8 per day pay, so I personally dont know if this one was worth it. Perhaps its better to book a tour with your hotel, and research the best tour operator who pays the guides better. Also, no drinks are included with any of the meals, they all have to be paid for. And when you arrive back to Hanoi, you do not get a transfer back to the hotel, that was an annoying inconvenience to find out at 4am, when a bunch of drivers are swarming around you, trying to overcharge you. As well as that, we got no choice in either top or bottom bunk on the overnight train, and I got top bunks both times, which was really inconvenient.

A great experience! Our cheerful, tireless and very warm guide Chu accompanied us on very beautiful and varied paths, protected us from stray dogs with a height of only 1.45 m and told a lot about life and her tribe to the Black H'mong. Lovely hosts in the homestays and delicious food everywhere on our way. The trip was a bit different than announced or booked. No picnics, no houses on stilts and no return trip on the train. Dear GetYourGuide team, to avoid disappointment or irritation, it would be good if the travel plan and the execution were congruent. However, these changes did not harm our enthusiasm. A real asset!

The organization was perfect and the guides very friendly. We were accompanied on the trekking tour by women from the village, who were very gracious and did not help the steadfast participants with the steep passages. In the end, they then offered bags and jewelry they made themselves (we knew beforehand). Then bought three really nice bags for $ 10 and the ladies were also very grateful that they could make a little money. A win win win situation. The landscape and the village were simply overwhelming and everyone was incredibly open and friendly. Even if you haven't bought anything, nothing has changed.

I loved seeing the local culture and Sapa is truly beautiful! The only downside is that you’re constantly harassed by the local women to purchase their crafts, even during the trek. Also, if you’re staying in the winter, it will be very cold.

Loved the experience! The agency is excellent, they took good care of me all the time and our guide was amazing! Super fun and patient. The family that hosted us is a love.

very nice accommodation, cool guide (hieu), great program
