Full description
Day 1: Hanoi, Red River Delta, Halong Bay Tour guide will pick you up from your meeting point/your hotel in the Old Quarter of Hanoi, from where you depart for Ha Long City. After arriving to the port at noon, you will board your Royal Palace Cruise and will be warmly welcomed by your professional and friendly crew. You will then check-in to your cabin and enjoy lunch while cruising through the most beautiful parts of the magical bay, with thousands of amazing limestone islands emerging from the emerald water. This is the best time to relax after lunch and enjoy your privacy, capturing stunning photos of the legendary bay. A small tender will bring you to visit Titop Island, where you can hike to the top of the island for great panoramic views over the bay. You can engage in water sports before joining the sunset party on the sundeck, as you make friends with other members of the group and enjoy fresh local fruit. In the evening, enjoy a special dinner cooked by your professional chef. You can then choose your own way to relax after dinner by either listening to music, singing karaoke, relaxing on the sundeck, or squid fishing, before retiring for the day. Day 2: Ha Long Bay Your second day will begin with morning exercises with a tai chi master, a perfect and healthy way to start a new day. Following that, you will enjoy a breakfast complete with coffee, tea, and fruit. You will then have a full day of activities to enjoy, as you cruise to other parts of Ha Long Bay. You can discover a beautiful cave named “Fairy Lake Cave”, before kayaking to discover the tranquil bay further. Following lunch you will keep cruising to other parts of Ha Long Bay, with a stop over at a fishing farm where local people raise fish and cultivate pearls. Later that evening, you will enjoy another dinner, before enjoying activities on board before retiring for the day. Day 3: Surprising Cave, Cooking Class, Hanoi You will wake up early to take beautiful photos of the sunrise, before later joining a tai chi session before breakfast. Next, you will journey to Surprising Cave to discover the most beautiful grotto in Ha Long Bay. Check-out will be at 9:00AM, as you cruise around the lesser-explored areas of the bay on the way back to Tuan Chau Port. You can finally take part in a cooking class and enjoy a farewell lunch before you disembark at Tuan Chau Port at around 11:45AM. Your tour concludes as you journey back to Hanoi by bus before being dropped off at your hotel in the Hanoi city center at around 5:00PM.

It was nice that we had a stylish, traditional ship with few cabins. The service on board was always good, the staff very friendly. The food was great, unfortunately not so good on New Year's Eve. They certainly wanted to offer something special that was not entirely successful. The English of the guides could be expanded. For the excursions, more information about the process would have been good. But overall an unforgettable experience.

Since it was cool from the air temperature, it was unfortunately not warm on the boat, especially since the doors were often open. Boat was fine, so was the food.
