Full description

Uncover the cultural and natural heritages of Ninh Binh province on a guided day trip from Hanoi, with hotel transfers included. Pay a visit to the Bai Dinh Temple, take a boat tour along Tràng An’s shimmering rivers, and climb to the top of Mua Caves.

Get picked up from your hotel in Hanoi and depart for Ninh Binh province. Visit Bai Dinh Pagoda, the biggest complex of Buddhist temples in Vietnam. See 500 Arhat Statues made from monolithic bluestone, a 36-ton bronze Bell, and a 100-ton Buddha statue that stands 10 meters high.

After visiting the temple complex, stop for lunch in a local restaurant with a buffet of goat meat, fish, chicken, and fried rice, as well as vegetarian food options.

Next, continue to Tràng An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its tunnel cave system was featured in the 2017 movie Kong: Skull Island. Take a 2.5-hour boat trip through its caves, admiring towering limestone karsts covered with tropical plants and sapphire rivers. Then, get back on the bus and head to the viewpoint of Mua Caves or Dancing Cave. Learn about the legend that gave the cave its name. Walk up 500 steps to the Lying Dragon Mountain to enjoy panoramic views of Tam Coc. In the late afternoon, start your return journey to Hanoi.
