It was a bright sunny day in Old Portsmouth and we were doing the treasure trail with relatives visiting from Scotland. We’ve done treasure trails before, but this was their first. They absolutely loved it! So did we. Although they have visited us in Portsmouth many times, the trail took us places we hadn’t noticed before and entertained us with historical anecdotes along the way. The clues were excellent and we all enjoyed the challenges. All doable . We stopped into The SallyPort for reviving coffees / beers along the way - very jolly and with the benefit of three floors (4?) of military antiques and other interesting objects to look at. We spent about three hours overall, with the pit stop and antiques looksee included, all on flat pavements, I definitely recommend this outing.

Well worth it! Gives you lots of history and brings the past to life. Great fun and brain teasing puzzles to solve!

Great guide and itinerary, the castle itself is simply amazing, loved this tour! I recommend to everyone!

Excellent trip. Knowledgeable guide. Good weather. Nice castle. Nice time at every stop.

We had a brilliant day. Nice way to see old Portsmouth
