The port of Hamburg is one of the city's most-visited sights; the best views of the Hanseatic city can definitely be experienced from the water. However, if an ordinary harbor tour proves too boring for you, then fear not: there is an alternative. Climb aboard Olivia Ahoi! and experience a party tour with Olivia Jones. Onboard one of the traditional shipping company Abicht's boats, enjoy music, dance and sing along. Keep warm and content with a little taste of Landratten-Likör (an alcoholic spirit for those without sea legs!) served by Olivia and her family and learn more about the port of Hamburg en route. At the end of the 75-minute tour, snap some photos with your hosts. Disembark from the Landungsbrücken then continue the party on land at the Olivia Jones Bar.

Hamburg: Bucerius Kunst Forum Entry Ticket

4. Hamburg: Bucerius Kunst Forum Entry Ticket

Located in the heart of Hamburg next to the city hall, the Bucerius Kunst Forum organises four exhibitions each year, presenting world-class works of art from antiquity to the present day. It is a place to exchange ideas and encounter a broad range of visual arts. In just a few years, the forum has become a favorite destination for art lovers and won the trust of the world’s leading museums. The most visited exhibitions showed the works of Frida Kahlo (2006), Edward Hopper (2009), Joseph Mallord William Turner (2011), Joan Miró (2014) and Pablo Picasso (2016). At the Bucerius Kunst Forum, discover outstanding art in new contexts. Its exhibitions highlight artistic relationships across different eras and disciplines, drawing connections between today’s art and that of the past. Works are considered from new theoretical perspectives: for instance, a Henri Matisse exhibition was the first to bring together his portraits; a Frida Kahlo exhibition examined the links between Mexican and European art, and a Picasso exhibition was the first to highlight the window as a central motif in the artist’s work. The Bucerius Kunst Forum stages a lively calendar of events in the auditorium, which can seat up to 199 people. The program of chamber concerts, lectures, readings, and talks is carefully curated to illuminate the themes of each exhibition from different artistic angles.

What people are saying about Hamburg

We had an extremely nice ride through the harbor, which was later illuminated. The contributions to the individual sights were very interesting. Now let's come to the wine: we had three different types, all three extremely delicious, so we would have liked to have taken a few bottles home with us. The cheese platter was the perfect accompaniment! We will be back!

Everything is right there and therefore our warmest recommendation. Welcome by a friendly, highly motivated team, delicious cheese plate, accompanied by selected wines, a highly interesting commented barge trip that far exceeded our expectations.

Eine super tolle Rundfahrt mit leckerem Wein und Käse und sehr freundlichem Personal. Sehr weiterzuempfehlen!

It took a few minutes to find the place, but they were looking for us, very nice!
