It was really excellent that we could split the two activities over two days, as there was now time left to do the boat trip when we got back from the hop-on hop-off bus trip. We tend to use the bus as one trip, in order to gain an overview of the whole city. We rarely tend to use the bus more than once. Hamburg was great and the bus was great too.

Had to wait approx 40 minutes before a bus suitable to us, (English Language), while two others were not. Subsequently it was crowded and only seats left had limited leg room. Got off after approx. 15 minutes to take the very good harbour cruise. After cruise the bus was there almost immediately and had plenty of room. Tour very informative and surprisingly long when compared to other city hop on hop off tours.

The problem was i could not print the voucher and could not embark in the boat that was English speaking because i was too late. Also most of the tour guides have a poor command of English. I tried 4 buses and have the luck to get in a bus with a guide that had excellent command of English. As i was the only customer that needed English she did her best and told details about the tour landmarks, as she told in German. I know very little German.
