We were there on a rainy afternoon in December. We had only booked the normal entrance fee. It probably would have been better with a guide and a few words of explanation. Unfortunately, there wasn't much going on that day either. If you are interested in such ships, you are in good hands here. Big thanks and respect to the people who make it open to the public and keep it in this intact and driving condition. For us the visit was ok but we will not look at it again.

I was already familiar with the ship because - a long time ago - we celebrated my husband's 70th birthday there, including a guided tour. That was great and very special at the time! And now the grandchildren are big enough to explore the ship from top to bottom. They had a lot of fun. For me, the last 2 stairs down from the engine room were too steep for me - of course not for the grandchildren! All in all, a successful excursion for the Kidis and also for me because of the wonderful memories.

It is advisable to reserve tickets online in order to be safe in the current Corona times. For the large ship with the extensive information, the specified visiting time is required depending on the interest. The inspection of the engine rooms over several floors is impressive, as is the storage of general cargo compared to today's container ships. We had a lot of fun, is entertaining and highly recommended!
