Benefit from pick-up at your hotel in Salzburg (or any other location in the city on request), and meet your private driver/guide for an excursion to Hallstatt. Journey along the shores of the emerald-green Fuschlsee to the Schloss Fuschl (Fuschl Castle), and then continue to St. Gilgen to take a stunning photo of the beautiful scenery from a great view point. Depart St. Gilgen and drive along the shores of Wolfgangsee lake en route to Bad Ischl, famous for its spa and the imperial summer palace. This tour will take you to some places where the Celtics used to live, worked and had mystically places. We will drive with you to the village of Hallstatt, where you have the possibility to visit the salt mines (only visible between April and November) and some other Celtic spots in the area. Then you will drive with you on the way back by the mystically water fall of Golling where already the Celtics had a mystically place and we can also visit the Canyon of the hammer river which the Celtics used as a holy place.  Between the end of November and the beginning of April you can visit the salt mines of Hallein, the waterfalls and then see the city of Hallstatt and the lake district area.

The tour was nice, Norbert was very kind, polite and patience. He fetch us with VW Phaeton which was a comfortable car, clean and well maintained. In total the tour was 14 hours just to see Hallstatt and Salzburg. He never counting on the hours. He just keep going and entertained us. Show us many things and explained it well. He brought us to the good Italian restaurant in Salzburg, he knew good food too.

It was a Wonderful experience and we are very happy to participate!! Hallstatt is magnificent place, we wish we had more time! And Salzburg is also wonderful! Beautiful old town I think it would be better for us to skip Melk ( to early to visit the monastery) Overall it was a wonderful experience!!!

We did the private tour to Melk, Hallstatt and Salzburg on Christmas day and although it rained, it snowed and it was cold it was wonderful. The driver who was a guide was very kind and friendly, I would give him a ten. Without a doubt, I recommend this private tour to everyone.

It was nice tour, we took lot of memorable photos there, money is worth it and you will definitely enjoy this tour, if you are with Mr. Peter you will be so Lucky !
