The day starts with a visit to an Hacienda, which is in very good conditions and is a good way to understand more about the history of the Yucatán colonial past. Afterwards we went to Uxmal, which is an amazing archeological site - a must go if in Yucatan / Mérida. Our guide was very knowledgeable and eager to explain every detail of the temples and the Mayan civilization. Then we had a nice traditional food (vegan and vegetarian options included), and finally we drove to the Cenote site which was not as lovely as other ones we saw in the area.

Uxmal is definitely worth a visit, despite what little can be seen of it due to covid restrictions. The meal was quite good, soup, chicken and dessert, with a vegetarian option if needed. The guide was interesting and knowledgeable. On the other hand, the cenote is by far not the most beautiful there is. Pity !

It was a great day with many impressions. The tour guide himself was Maya and was able to explain a lot to us about the culture, history and language. Uxmal is beautiful and should definitely be at the top of your Mexico itinerary.

This tour is just perfect if you want to cover the most important sites around Mérida. Especially less crowded Uzmal was spectecular. Our tour guide Israel had a lot of interesting stories to tell. It was fantastic!
