Get up close to dolphins in ways you’ve never imagined at Gulf World Marine Park during this dolphin swim adventure with admission to the park included. Join park shows and education chats and explore the many indoor and outdoor animal exhibits.

Embark on a fast and exciting ride with a dolphin while you hold onto their pectoral fins in the magnificent belly ride. Experience other interactions and behaviors including the handshake, hand target, hug, and touches.

As you make new friends with the dolphins, learn about these interesting creatures with Gulf World’s marine mammal specialists.

Know before you go

Participants must be at least 54 inches tall to do the program by themselves. Children or participants 48 inches tall to 53 inches tall must be accompanied in the water by a paying program participant that is 18 years old or older
Due to limited space, only 1 paid observer per swimmer over the age of 18 is allowed. Observers are required to pay regular admission fees plus a $5 observer fee. Swimmers under 18 may have one complimentary observer, with the option to pay $5 for 1 extra observer
The weight limit for the belly ride is a maximum of 250 lbs. For guests over 250 lbs, the dolphin encounter is a recommended alternative
Participants must be able to speak and understand English
Participants must be free of open wounds and show no signs of illness
