Your uphill climb is rewarded with a bird's eye view of the Lijiang River winding through countless peaks, ideal for scenery enthusiasts and photographers. Move on to Xingping to savor a delicious lunch, before you take small boat from Xingping to Nine Horses Hill. Head back to Xingping River Pier, and catch the Liusanjie show at Yangshuo. Andy was prompt, professional with a very personable. He was flexible, because at first we wanted to skip the light show and he was okay with that option, but then we were able to adjust our schedule and Andy had no issues going with the original itinerary. First and most important. He could be a professional photographer, because all of the pictures he took of us, were AWESOME. Andy knew exactly where all the best shots were. Second his vehicle was meticulously clean, and DID NOT SMELL OF SMOKE, which is almost impossible to avoid, even in public taxis. We did not want to spend four hours on the river boats, and cover most of Guilin in one day and this tour was it.

Our tour with our guide Colin was great! His English was very well, he gave us lots of information about the sights and the area and we could change the preplanned tour according to what we liked and were interested in. Only drawback: the tour was quite expensive compared to what our hotel would have offered or what a private driver would have cost us as you normally don’t pay per person but per car & driver you “rent” and the entrance fees are quite high as well. Expect to pay quite a bit extra.
