Benefit from pick-up at your hotel in Guangzhou at approximately 07:00, and then journey to the historical city of Zhaoqing at the foothills of Dinghu Mountain in Guangdong Province. Learn the origins of the mountain's name from its resemblance to a Chinese bronze vessel known as "Ding." Upon arrival, climb the mountain, where the peaks rise above ancient towering trees, and get spectacular views of the waterfalls, historical buildings and trees of verdant green. Continue to Seven Star Crags for a closer look at the limestone rocks situated in and around Star Lake directly across from Paifang Square in downtown Zhaoqing. Wander around the park and soak up the natural splendor. The crags are naturally arranged in the same formation as the 7 stars of the Big Dipper constellation and offer spectacular views of Star Lake and its migratory birds. Return to Guangzhou and get drop off at your hotel at the end of the tour services.

At 8.00 am, your guide will pick up you from your hotel and take a ride 2 hours to Kaiping where you visit Liyuan Garden, Zili Village. In Kaiping there are many Diaolou(Watch towers) that are listed as cultural heritage by UNESCO in 2007. Kaiping Diaolou and Villages were built by overseas Kaiping people during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. These buildings take three forms: communal towers built by several families and used as temporary refuge, residential towers built by individual rich families and used as fortified residences, and watch towers to defend agaisnt local banditry. Then you will visit Chikan old town to view the local rural life before lunch. Afterwards you will be transferred back to Guangzhou, drop off at the hotel where the wonderful day trip concludes.

Benefit from pick-up at your Guangzhou hotel at 07:00 and transfer with your guide to Guangzhou Nan Railway Station (Guangzhou South). Catch the bullet train to Shaoguan, about 1 hour's journey to the north. Upon arrival in Shaoguan, travel to Danxia Mountain, declared part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of "China Danxia" in 2010. Climb to the summit of Zhanglao to experience the highest peak of Danxia Mountain, and get bird's eye views of the surrounding outcrops of the mountain range. Marvel at the curious rock formation of Yang Yuan Stone, ("Male/Father Stone") and its remarkable resemblance to a phallus. After a quick snack, continue to the Buddhist monastery of Nanhua Temple. Known for its Buddha statues of Sakyamuni Buddha, Medicine Buddha and Amitabha in the Grand Hall. Enjoy a complimentary light lunch before returning to Shaoguan Railway Station to catch the bullet train back to Guangzhou, where on arrival a vehicle will take you back to your hotel.
