Your tour begins from Playa Flamingo where you will be shuttled from the shore to one of two boats. The captain will welcome you aboard and brief you on safety features before you set sail for a relaxing afternoon, sailing along the Pacific coast of Guanacaste. You will begin to feel that you are part of a big family as the staff will be at your constant attention offering you drinks, snacks, music, and descriptions of the flora and fauna around you. Halfway into the tour, the boat will stop and you will be offered to partake in some diverse water activities, such as snorkeling, swimming, SUPs, and kayaking or just hanging out at an amazing beach. After your water activities, you will be offered a delightful meal including desserts. Then the music will soothe you as the captain pulls up anchor and begins your slow sail back to shore while allowing the gentle movement of the boat to soothe your soul. The final moments pulling into shore will be livened up with some music to wish you well on your way. Join us as we cruise into the open sea, looking for spotted dolphins, migrating humpback whales, sea turtles and manta rays. You will be captivated by the sight of dolphins frolicking in the boat’s wake, or the inimitable sound of a whale’s song. As we make our way down the coastline of Manuel Antonio National Park, mysterious islands, jagged cliffs and unique rock formations will look almost close enough to reach out and touch. These are the nesting grounds and home for numerous species of marine birds, including pelicans, boobies and ibises. While touring the coastline, the captain will hoist the sails, wind permitting, and you will delight in the feel of the catamaran cutting quietly through the blue waters of the Pacific. Our onboard guide will be ready to answer any questions you might have, and will point out sights of interest while giving a brief history of the area. After touring the coastline, we will anchor in a protected cove within the pristine Biesanz Bay for snorkeling. We provide masks, snorkels and fins, all you need to submerge and observe the underwater playground for many species of colorful tropical fish. After you have finished snorkeling, come back on board and enjoy a delicious lunch we have prepared for you: Grilled fish brochettes with onion and green pepper, pasta salad with vegetables, fresh tropical fruits, and natural fruit drinks. The last leg of the tour is the trip back to the Quepos marina.
