The tour will start at the kayak base located in the center of the charming village of Stykkishólmur. After a short paddle, the tour arrives at the first landmark, Landey, the world famous eiderdown harvesting location. Later, the tour visits shipwrecks, including the eerie wreckage of the Thorgeir. This trip is exactly what it promises to be: a well-planned and well-executed full day excursion to a beautiful place rich not only in breathtaking sceneries but also in culture and history, all of which are extremely enoyable in the company of all the nice people and the friendly, funny, smart guide I met. I can only recommend it to anyone interested in Icelandic culture, nature, and the stories they still tell - either in the form of the unforgettable saga-sites or as some notable places for film-shootings recognized by many people all around the world. All the stops are valuable (with context provided by the guide) and there are never too great distances between them, which makes this trip perfect for all ages. The bus gives enough comfort to enjoy this trip even in bad weather, but nothing is comparable to the minutes when the sun comes out every now and then to accompany the travellers on their magical journey through one of the most astonishing places of Earth.

Einfach super :) :)

INCREDIBLE. If it's your first time in Iceland, the peninsula is definitely a place not to be missed. Everything is wonderful. Simon the guide is a passionate he knows the island perfectly. We can see that his wish is to share with us the beauty of this region. He took us to the best restaurant I've done on the island (I recommend 1000%) and also a superb bakery. This excursion is a must. Go there with your eyes closed, you will be amazed on the spot!!!

Absolutely gorgeous tour!! So many incredible views, all the waterfalls, the black beach, the rocks, everything was so picturesque and beautiful. It was also a very peaceful and relaxing tour. We got to see everything and had enough time at all locations. Our guide and driver HBO was very nice and entertaining. He played amazing Icelandic music during the drives to the locations, and it was a very nice touch! Would 100% recommend!!!!

Tom did it! He turned a 12 hour trip into a completely amazing ride. We saw beautiful places always followed by the history behind them. What a great and fun way to end our time in Iceland.
