This was Day 1 of our Switzerland trip. We were lucky to have a clear, sunny weather. We truly enjoyed the Eiger Express ride and going on top of Jungfrau. Being from a country that does not have much snow, we marvelled at the crisp whiteness of the mountains. We enjoyed the Ice Palace as well. Everything was well organised. You won’t lose your way on the tour. We just hope climate change won’t affect the wonderful Bernese Alps.

The trip was a thrilling, stunningly beautiful, once a life time type of experience. We got to enjoy and appreciate the wonder that is the Swiss Alps. The tickets were easily redeemed at the train station, and worked without an issue throughout the tour. 2 things to add, in case it’s helpful to anyone : 1. You will essentially ascend from 500m to 3500m above the sea level in a short period of time. Be careful of potential altitude sickness. 2. We booked the option with Eurail pass, and thought we’d need to use a travel day for this tour. It turned out we didn’t have to and just need to have a valid Eurail pass. I.e. the Eurail pass just needs to be valid, but not activated, you don’t have to waste a travel day like we did.

Description of the tickets was exactly correct, and the price was good. The only area where there could be improvement was in the ticket delivery mechanism - despite having downloaded the app, the ticket taker still required a printed out copy, which was difficult to obtain for someone traveling.
