On our chocolate, beer and fries tasting chocolate tour of Brussels, we start with a tasting of six pralines, made by authentic Belgian master chocolatiers such as Pierre Marcolini and Mery’s. Also, from the new generation of Chocolatiers like master chocolatier Jitsk, who has been researching further and has come up with new fusions of different flavours and smells. We will be delighted in tasting a unique fusion of flavours: mango with yuzu, cassis with black pepper, coffee with coconut spices, lime kefir with potato vodka, curry with raisins and salted macadamia, … All these blends covered with dark chocolate, a higher temptation. Yeah, Brussels doesn’t just smell like chocolate, it tastes like chocolate. After finishing the chocolate tasting, we will then go to one of the capital’s iconic bars to try out two spontaneously fermented beers-typical of Brussels -they are still brewed with wild yeast. Afterwards, we will savour the wonderful “frites” or French fries, in a typical “frietkot” (Frites stall), which is also the only left in the city centre that still fries potatoes in the traditional way We will certainly try them with a good sauce of our choice. It makes our mouths watering, doesn’t it? We finish our tour at a famous bar in the city centre, tasting two beers whose recipes were created by monks of the Trappist abbeys and are top-fermented beers.

Start your day by meeting your guide and group at the designated meeting point. After a brief meet and greet with your friendly guide, you will head off to your first stop of the day. Begin the excitement with a trip to one of the city's most popular chocolate stores. Thanks to this take-away formule, you’ll discover a pallet of aromas and tastes in combination with a high quality beer. Before the tasting can start, you'll explore some of the favourite beers of your fellow group members thanks to some beer windows on the way to your first stop. Discover some of Belgium's proud brewing traditions and find out some of the secrets behind its wide range of delicious beers. Make your first stop at one of the city’s most popular bars, and taste your first beer. Swap thoughts on the flavour and notes, and soak up the convivial spirit as you chat to your guide and group. Trappist or Lambic beers can be enormously surprising when matched with some chocolate or other local delicacies to enjoy the full Belgian beer-and-food experience. From here, move on to other lively beer haunts, including some hidden gems loved by and known only to the locals. You'll be taken to places ranging from the most trendy to most medieval, in order to satisfy every age group on the tour. Over the course of the tour, sample a selection of bigger brands and craftwork brews, tasting a gutsy mix from malty, hoppy, fruity, reddish, and herby beers to sour and triple varieties. The tour was wonderful!! Despite the cold & rainy weather, we enjoyed our evening immensely. The history of Brussels came with stories to make it even more interesting. The food choices were delicious & the company couldn’t have been better. A must do!!

Our family went in November and really enjoyed the tour. It was perfect since we were only in Brussels for a day and it was a quick summary in less than 3 hours. The fries were awesome and we really enjoyed the beer sampling.

Mini Europe was an enjoyable activity. It was interesting seeing all the miniature aspects. It is fun for all ages with various interactive activities. This Venus’ appeal is multigenerational so all ages will enjoy.
