What people are saying about Granada, Nicaragua

The tour was absolutely superb from beginning to end. We started from a hotel in Granada where we were driven to the ferry dock in San Jorge by a welcoming driver who waited for us there until the return home. The guide (Osvaldo) spoke English well and met us at the ferry port. From the first moment he shared lots of exciting information about the island, its inhabitants, nature and wildlife, and he showed us the most interesting places on the island for a one day visit. We had the opportunity to ask about everything and also influence the planning of the tour and the places we visited, but the guide is a resident and he recommended very well. We stopped for delicious food at a couple of restaurants. The driver on the island drove us around in a cool and nice car, waiting for us while we were outside on shorter excursions in nature, taking pictures or took a bath in Ojo de Agua. We felt very well taken care of throughout the trip and received great service until we were safely back

Unique and personal one-day adventure in Ometepe!!!!

This was an amazing tour!! We were picked up from our hotel in Granada by a lovely driver and taken straight to the ferry where we were met by our guide. Our guide was wonderful; so full of fun information and yet another lovely person we've had the pleasure of meeting in Nicaragua. My boyfriend and I were the only ones on our tour, so we got very personal device. He showed up practically the whole island; Charco Verde lagoon, a beautiful farm, lunch on the beach followed by some lake swimming, then to the volcanic spring for more swimming. The tour really is a wonderful way to get a taste for the island if you only have the one day. You could easily spend several days on the island, but this hits the highlights, is very well run and well worth the money. I highly recommend this group!!!

Fast and intense but worth it if you have little time in Nicaragua, the best hand in hand with Granada throughout the country!

Overall very great tour. However, the program was too thin for us.
