Discover some of the best views of the Sierra Nevada mountains surrounding Granada, and enjoy breathtaking panoramas of the old city from secret viewpoints. On the tour, drive along trails that date back over a thousand years, from the time of the Visigods and the Arabs.
Following pickup from Granada city center, travel by 4WD vehicle towards the towering peaks of the nearby mountains north of the city. They soar to altitudes of more than 6,700 feet (2,000 meters), and remain snow-capped for much of the year.
Explore the north face of the Sierra Nevada to see the highest peaks on the Iberian Peninsula, climbing to heights of more than 3,000 meters. Marvel at the amazing landscape, before driving to Sierra de Huétor Natural Park.
The mountains here are lower, and were used by the Moors to draw spring water for the Albaicín, now part of Granada. See some old fortifications from the days of the Spanish Civil War, and enjoy incredible views of Granada and the Sierra Nevada.
