This tour was booked when every other option had been explored. I booked flights as soon as tickets were released but then found no tickets or other tours were available on 20 or 21 Oct. We had experienced a "Skip The Line" at the Vatican in 2012, following an invitation while near the back of a long queue. That was about £60 each in 2012, and we were wary of being conned. But it was an exceptionally good tour. Was £150 each "reasonable" for a "private skip the line" tour of the Alhambra? Or was this a con? A suggestion on the booking confirmation that the meeting point could be changed on the day triggered an alarm bell. And we were not given any clue as to how to identify our guide. As things turned out, we met our guide about 10 minutes before the specified time and he informed us that we were his only customers! From then on, the tour was outstanding in every respect. But it cannot be worth £1 a minute each.

Antonio was a great host for our tour of the Alhambra. We loved the way he took us around, avoiding the crowds, telling us everything about what we were seeing and his knowledge made the place come more alive. He was also easy to be with and to talk to and his English was great too. Highly recommend him.

Thoroughly enriching experience! Excellent guide!

We were 2 couples and all of us felt our guide Francex, a highly educated art historian, did an outstanding job. He delivered fascinating information tailored to our interests in a conversational way. It was in depth without being overwhelming and all questions were welcomed. He set a pace that was relaxed but also ensured that we saw and understood what was most important and most interesting historically and artistically about this very large complex. Don’t wander around lost, wondering what you’re looking at or following someone with 30 other people and so no time for your questions — get your own guide! Totally worth it! Also a great (and the only) way to get last minute tickets.
