Full description
Explore the places where the queen left her personal mark. Learn about the first town hall in the city, which was created by Isabella herself. Discover the importance of the Great Captain Gonzalo Fernández de Córdoba, who was the architect of the conquest. Hear about how she Christianised the population of Granada. See places including the Madraza, the Cuarto Real, the Capitanía General, and the convent of the Comendadoras de Santiago or Santo Domingo. Isabella the Catholic left her mark on all the places along this route and Granada also left its mark on her. Despite her death in Medina del Campo, she decided to be buried in Granada and her remains will rest forever in the city she longed for so much. After the guided walking tour, all the members of the group will be invited to a drink and tapa, a custom typical in Granada, and a perfect moment to chat with your guide.
