we had two very fun, helpful tour guides (Jorge and Irena) and the canyon was beautiful! Such a unique experience that we’ve never done and never seen offered anywhere else. Would highly recommend to anyone! I will say, the bus does not have AC and water was not provided. Not a deal breaker but I definitely think that should not be mislabeled in the description. Also, the tour was listed has 4 hours but didn’t include the ~3 hr drive from Granada in that timeline— I would definitely make sure that is listed so people have a better understanding of expectations! Again, would recommend to anyone (who is fit enough) and we loved it so much! Also, so great that the tour includes digital pictures from the day — love it!

The activity is very nice as well as the monitors who speak Spanish and English, but only a little bit French. However, be aware that there is more than 1 hour of road (zig zag mountain road - beware of the sick!). There, the monitors have to pick up other people who have come with their own cars. There are 2 circuits (the entire Rio Verse or half: this is the case of the proposed activity). The road + the brooms of cars etc. lasts long enough. Then, we did the activity on a Sunday, so we ended up with all the locals and therefore a lot of people (private property and paying… a huge queue and wait). Once parked at the bottom, you must wear your canyoning outfit (wetsuit, jacket, helmet, harness) and go on a 45-minute hike by climbing the mountain. It's super tiring and restrictive knowing that you can't really take a bag with water because you have to go down the Rio with it!

We stayed in Spain for two weeks and this was honestly the best day of our vacation! Pedro, the guide, was absolutely fantastic. He was so considerate and patient, which made one feel super safe but still there was lots of adventurous stuff to do. Yet there were always options for people who didn’t want to cliff jump or slide down the rocks, so you didn’t have to quit the whole tour if you didn’t want to do an activity. Pedro always encouraged everyone to try the activities but was never pushy. The canyon itself is also astoundingly beautiful. Very recommendable!
