Full description
Journey back to the days of the Moors in Spain on a guided tour of the Alhambra. Enter the vast complex and hear about its great influence and importance in the history of Spain. Learn about the architectural styles that were used, with Christianity and Islam both having an influence. Marvel at the beautiful Gate of Pomegranates, then walk past the Pillar of Charles V fountain, erected in 1554 along the route that leads to the main entrance of the Alhambra. Explore the Alcazaba fortress, formerly a military precinct and the oldest area of the Alhambra complex. You will also visit the Nasrid Palaces including the Palace of Mexuar, the Palace of Comares, and the Palace of Leones. Finally head to the Generalife, the summer palace of the Nasrid Emirs, home to one of the oldest surviving gardens of the Moors. Admire the different courtyards with their long pools framed by flowerbeds, fountains, colonnades, and pavilions.

This is the must-see. These places are magnificent both in atmosphere and architecture. Don't miss any of them. I met other tourists who said that they went to the garden only but no chance to get inside the palace. They should see the amazing palace too. Mr. Edu was a very friendly guide. He gave much information. I enjoyed a lot. Three hours seemed to pass very fast.

A wonderful experience. We were late to our meeting point because it is such a large place and we had trouble finding it. We called the number we were given in our confirmation and they were able to help guide us and hold our reservation. Our guide was very informative and interesting. She knew the best locations for beautiful photographs.

Very easy to purchase online. The app is great! It kept us notified of the time and place of our tour. Our guide was excellent. Very knowledgeable, and with a great sense of humor to keep the tour interesting. She arrived with our names and reservation info in case we didn't have our vouchers with us. Everything was perfect.
