Our guide Fran had good knowledge and even found some local fruit just on the side of the road for us to try. He also was able to get us into a cave house, so we could see how people even today still live in them. Fran also offered to take pictures and he definitely knows the best scenes! The small tour group size (12 people) was a plus, as we had ample space on the little bus. However, I wished the stop at the sand dunes could have been a bit longer to actually go further in. The way it was done, it was just a photo stop at the edge. The previous stop in Maspalomas was a waste of time, as it was in the middle of resorts. There was nothing of interest to see. That one should be skipped to allow more time at the dunes.

Very pleasant tour, our guide Fran was very nice. I would suggest to travelers to not eat in Puerto de Mogan, and instead enjoy the beautiful streets and the beach, eat during the one hour stop in Maspalomas instead because beside the lighthouse, there isn't much to see (if you want to access the Dunes, there is an other stop a bit later). I wish we stopped at the Dunes a bit longer so we could walk a bit (we had about 20 minutes, I think 30/40 minutes would be best)

This was my first visit to Gran Canaria, for number of reasons I decided to stay in the north (Las Palmas) and bought 2 (+1) tours around the island to get better idea of different regions and places of importance. All of the tours were amazing: small groups, the routes were planned with great detail and knowledge of the island, they well-balanced nature, towns/villages and museums (!); stops to enjoy sights, have coffee or lunch were adequate; and equally important: the guides were fantastic! I have trully enjoyed their talking on all kind of topics related to local history, fauna, flora, geology, archeology, customs, legends, social specifics related to current life incl. "covid times" and impact on tourims (seeing empty hotels in Maspalomas), and the like. Excellent.
