Actual tour brilliant, admin quite messed up
We arrived at the meeting point 15 minutes before our scheduled departure. 5 minutes after the scheduled departure I rang to ask where our boat was. The man on the phone was shocked that no one had been in contact with me that morning, and seemed to think his colleague had spoken to me. He said that someone would call me back, which they did around 5 minutes later to say they would see if they could sort something out for later. In the mean time the captains of 2 boats started swapping and adding bottles of,prosecco onto a boat. About 2 minutes later a man rang to say a boat was ready for us. I then got a call as we were getting on the boat to say we could have a boat for 2 1/2 hours later......lots of crossed wires. For the time that we had (under 1 1/2 hours)and the boat that we had, it was quite expensive. HOWEVER given that our driver took us last minute, and didn’t know he was giving us a tour he was BRILLIANT. We loved Hans, professional, extremely friendly, we LOVED him!
This experience was truly magical! Rocco was a sweet, considerate, and funny man. There were very thoughtful touches, such as the selection of cheeses and snacks which we picked out as well as beautiful stories. We loved this canal tour and would recommend to any couples first or even fourth time in Amsterdam! Thank you :)
One of the best parts of my visit to Amsterdam.
Our guide picked us up at our hotel for the walking tour. He gave us choices and went at our pace. We learned so much about the city and were able to navigate with some assurance after his tour. We asked questions about their way of life and felt that we got a real feel for the way of life in Amsterdam.
This tour was a great way to see the city, and get some history also
We got picked up from our hotel, the guide was on time, we enjoyed this walk very much, we got to see many places and got lots of information and history, we covered many areas and did a canal cruise also, if you only have a short stay this is the best way to see the city.
Very knowledgeable guide with just the right amount of information
My wife and I enjoyed the walking tour very much. Our guide was very knwoledgeable but did not overfeed us with information. The tour was fun and we learnt Amsterdam from a perspective we could never have seen by ourselves. Great experience. Would do it again!
