You will be picked up from your hotel by your private tour guide, and driven to the Gothenburg Museum of Art (Swedish Göteborgs konstmuseum). On arrival, skip the line to enter and receive information about the museum, which holds the world's finest collection of late 19th century Nordic art.

Highlights on the tour include the lavishly decorated Fürstenberg Gallery, named after leading Gothenburg art donors Pontus Fürstenberg and his wife Göthilda. Among the artists showcased are P.S. Krøyer, Carl Larsson, Bruno Liljefors, Edvard Munch, and Anders Zorn. The museum also houses Nordic and international older and contemporary art. The collection includes works by Monet, Picasso, and Rembrandt.
