What people are saying about Giza (Governorate)

Saqqara & Dahsour are worth visiting, especially as the are the oldest piramids and it is interesting to see how the acient Egyptians went from the step piramid to the dented piramid to the first triangle piramid. Memphis was nice to see the huge statue of Ramses II. The lunch at the local food place was tasty. The driver and the guide were friendly. Nice to have a female guide for a change. Minus was that there was a miscommunication between the tour operator and the guide and our pickup was an hour late, but that can happen I suppose. Length was 5.5 hours. Time can be anywhere between 4-8 hours I suppose, depending on where your hotel is located, if you enter all the piramids and if you wish to shop. All in all I would recommend, this site cannot be missed in your schedule if you’re interested in the history of the early piramids!

Our friendly guide Moshira told us a lot on the way to Cairo. Her explanations were clear in English, very helpful and gave us a lot of information, ins and outs. A nice trip to Cairo in a comfortable van with good air conditioning. The people at get your guide are very helpful and also know how best to deal with pushy salesmen. Recommended!

The drive there was quite good compared to what we were expecting and the driver was very good at his job. The guide Ahmed was great and he managed to show us a lot of things even with the huge crowds. Overall a great experience with them

It was definitely worth going to Cairo! It had been a very long journey, no less than 20 hours away. Unfortunately the trip took a bit longer than indicated but I had a very nice day!

Very nice and interesting tour with a lot of info about ancient history. We enjoyed very much and super friendly and helpful guide.
