Walk along the narrow footpaths to explore hundreds of bridges and admire the village's quiet ambiance. Your journey will continue with an exploration of the most picturesque traditional 17th-century Zaanse Schans settlement, which includes houses and a series of wonderfully restored windmills from the nation's industrial heritage. In Zaanse Schans village, you can stroll through the charming greenhouses and visit a factory that makes the famous clogs in this part of the world. Fantastic tour

We booked the tour as this was our second visit to the Netherlands and we wanted to see the countryside . Our guide made it an amazing experience - the kids call him Uncle Bramsterdam and he’s a rock star through and through . He regaled us with personal stories , anecdotes and history of the area. We learned so much about how they reclaimed the land and enjoyed a leisurely stroll in Geithoorn. Such a idyllic beautiful village , we are glad we went early and missed the crowds.

Excellent!!

We took the tour my family and I and we recommend it 100%. Our guide was super friendly, very attentive and took us to know more places that were left over the way. I recommend you take this tour, you will not regret it.

Giethoorn is a fairytale place. Loved it. Theo was our guide. He was informative, entertaining and flexible. Would happily recommend this day out from Amsterdam to others.
