Nice walk with a guide who spoke perfect French and gave a lot of information about the city. Boats open despite the cold. I did not like at all how it is noted EVERYWHERE that tipping is customary without forgetting the visual insistence of the guide when getting out of the boat! It was abused and not at all appropriate, besides no one gave him one! I recommend all the same because you learn a lot about the city and the price is quite correct!

The river trip was good. The positive side of it was the fact that you get to see the top of the river spots in 40mins (especially if you spend only a day in the city). A bit strange that we had to wait to listen to other 2 languages before English and the “jokes” had lost their meaning by the time we heard people laughing at them in 1 min earlier. I would suggest splitting the groups with up to 2 languages.

The experience was absolutely fantastic! It was an incredibly hot day so me and my partner decided to do a boat tour, seeing as I’ve recently moved here and wanted to learn more about the city. The tour guide was extremely friendly and interactive with the group, explaining the tour in Dutch, French and English. The only criticism I have (and it’s very small) is that on occasion he would mention something in Dutch and French, and wouldn’t translate it into English, so there was some small bits of information that I then had to translate for my partner. Overall this didn’t remove from the experience in anyway, but I felt it important to mention for others who may want to get all the information and not just the key points.
