First, it was easy searching and booking a tour guide with GYG. Email and text communications were timely and with complete information. We easily connected with our guide, Bart, in Ghent. He was at the meeting point when we arrived there. We visited in February 2023. As for Bart, he was the perfect guide to show us Ghent especially since we only had a couple of hours to see the city. He was very knowledgeable, full of facts and anecdotes that made the tour very interesting. We walked around as he pointed out the landmarks, giving us a complete history of the city from the middle ages to the present. We got to see all the sights we wanted to see and more. Our minds were brimming with so much information at the end of the 2-hour tour! I highly recommend Bart as your guide if you plan to visit Ghent!

Ghent is a beautiful city, and Joeri, our guide, did a fantastic job showing off the city that he loves. He made great suggestions since we didn't have anything particular in mind, and went at just the right pace for our 3 hour tour. His English is perfect, and he was very thoughtful, making sure we had a great time and really enjoyed our visit. I recommend this way to do a tour, and also recommend Joeri. Thank you for a very memorable day in Ghent. We only wish we had more time!!
