A very nice way to visit Ghent. A lot of explanations, and friendly guide for 40/50mn is enough. However not everything is translated into French so I think that if you don't understand English or Flemish the French version is a little light (or you have to ask if a written guide is available).

Pleasant boat ride along the Ghent canal that crosses the historic center ... the guide does not speak Italian but at the meeting point they gave us brochures with the Italian text. price absolutely in line with the parameters of Belgium ... purchase on get your guide as always perfect ... appointment at the station as reported and immediate boarding

Ghent is a very beautiful city and discovering it via a cruise allowed us to discover other aspects of it. The starting point is easy to find (ticket office along the quays under a large yellow parasol). You can show up at the time you want between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., which is very convenient. The guide/captain of the small boat was doing the tour in several languages. Only downside: his French was not always understandable. However, I recommend this activity!
