I had previously taken the bus tour on a past visit and wanted to try something different. Overall we were pleased. Our guide Dale was knowledgeable but he got into some personal views that I thought were inappropriate. For example his view that Native Americans are not native. Whether that is true not his personal views on that subject should be kept to himself.

From the very first our guide made everyone feel welcome and encouraged us to ask questions. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the battle and town. He havery interesting stories he shared and painted a us a mental picture of the battle. The carriage ride was perfect for showing the lay of the land. A perfect tour and well worth the money.

Thought this event was very nice. The only thing I would recommend to be different is the orientation of the seating in the carriage. The seating lined the perimeter of the carriage, instead of facing forward, which made it very hard to see things that are pointed out behind you.
