I had what turned out to be a private tour of Colonial Park Cemetery with Chase and I could not have been more impressed. He is chock full of information on the cemetery and the history of Savannah. It was like having a conversation with an old friend. We ambled along the various lanes and talked about a good number of individual graves. I am fascinated by cemeteries and early American history, so I was thrilled to be able to hear about how the various people interred there fit in with my own ideas of the times. Did I mention how wonderful Chase was? I could have spent the entire day wandering around listening to him and learning. Money and time well spent.
The tour guide was very knowledgeable and I was the only one on the tour. I enjoyed having more of a conversation then lecture. Brings a lot of good information
