2. From Adelaide: Yoga, Art & Wine Tour
After being greeted by your local guide, it's time to leave the city behind as we make our way to the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula. First up today, we'll stop at the iconic Willunga Farmers Market. Here you can stretch your legs and pick up some local produce and treats to take home.
Soak up the serenity of the postcard-perfect landscapes of McLaren Vale on the way to our next destination, Myponga Reserve, where a local yogini awaits. Set among nature with the curious local kangaroos looking on, roll out your yoga mat for a one-hour class for all levels.
Feeling zen, we'll take a short drive to Red Poles, a warm and welcoming destination restaurant and art gallery nestled in nature. Here, talented Head Chef Connor Bishop will surprise and delight you with his fun and exciting seasonal, regional produce menu.
During the three-course long lunch, it's time to unleash your creative side when we are joined by a local artist for a fun, two-hour painting workshop. Once the group agree on a theme, you'll use wine, ink, and coffee as the 'paints' and grapevine sticks as well as brushes to paint. Wine in hand, relax, paint, laugh and learn how art can improve your well-being.
Feeling inspired, take a short drive to Gemtree Wines. Trailblazers in the biodynamic wine scene, they share our passion for regeneration and have planted more than 50,000 trees in a wetland beyond the vineyard. Hear their story and connect with nature on a short guided walk on the Gemtree Eco-Trail.
Finally, relax in the tasting room for a flight of Gemtree biodynamic and certified organic wines. Feeling wonderfully relaxed, set off for Adelaide, where the new and improved version of yourself will arrive at around 4 pm.
