Marvel at the former gates of the Old Town, including the Upland Gate at the start of the Royal Way. Hear how this route was only accessible to the powerful monarchs in former days.  Continue to Long Market and the Town Hall. Then, pass Neptune Fountain and Arthur's Court (Dwor Artusa) to see the former meeting point of the city’s merchants, now a branch of the Gdańsk History Museum. Go inside the court, where the walls are covered with friezes of mythological and historical characters. We spent the day together with Barbara. she awaited us punctually in front of the ship, where she dropped us off just as reliably a good seven hours later. in the meantime we spent a very pleasant time with lots of information, anecdotes and interesting facts about the Tri-City. It was a great day and we can warmly recommend Barbara as a tour guide. Thanks!!!

Then it was a nice day

Unfortunately, our driver had received the changed pick-up time only in the late evening before our trip. So I had to call him first to let him know. That should be better organized. However, since our driver was already on the move, the delay didn't bother us. At the beginning our guide was a little quiet, but that changed in Gdansk and we were provided with very interesting information. For lunch we were taken to a very nice restaurant, where rs gave very good Polish cuisine at very good prices. From there we were able to start exploring Gdansk and therefore had no time lost. All in all it was a very interesting and well planned trip. We could have changed the order at any time or done something completely different. Our guide was very flexible here and always adjusts his routes to the customers.

Magnificent introduction to the Tri-City area

Our guide Michał was easy to communicate with before, during and after our all-day tour with him. He was punctual, friendly and very straightforward; wonderfully easy to talk to. Thanks to his worldliness and inexhaustible knowledge of Gdańsk and its surroundings, our stay in the area was enriched beyond measure. And rather than merely tell us things about Gdańsk that might be found in any given copy of Lonely Planet, he helped us discover amazing stories and places that others might never know.
