Full description
Visit Malbork Castle, one of the largest and best-preserved Gothic strongholds in the world, on a 6-hour excursion from Gdansk. The castle dates from the end of the 13th century, and was a seat of the Teutonic Knights Order. The giant fortress required nearly 5 million bricks to build, and was constructed in 3 sections. It is one of a very few strongholds in the world that were never captured in battle. Spend 3 hours touring the Grand Masters Palace and the Great Refectory, and see the many chambers and towers, and also medieval armor and weapons. Hear tales about brave knights and the battles fought between Poland and the Teutonic Order.

Great trip from Gdansk about 6 hours

We booked the transfer from the airport to Marienburg and back to Gdansk from home. The airport pickup went smoothly and the driver was very friendly. Anyone who is near Gdansk should definitely visit the Marienburg. A visit to this gigantic fortress, the largest Gothic and brick fortress in Europe, is definitely worth it. Tour is well organized, linguistically flawless, should be a mandatory event for everyone.

4 hours instead of 6 hours

So far everything is fine. However, the tour only took 4 hours instead of 6 hours. This was due to the taxi driver, who gave the time frame for the tour on site. The taxi driver also bought the tickets on site and spontaneously booked the tour there. Too bad that Ludwig our guide would have wanted to explain much more to us.

    Nice tour

The guide with a good attitude, but it shows that he does not know the Castle well and does not know information. You must perfect your Spanish.
