  • History of Gdansk Tour by Kayak on the Motława River

    4. History of Gdansk Tour by Kayak on the Motława River

See Gdańsk from a slightly different perspective – from a kayak. There are several routes to follow, all at various levels of difficulty, suited to your skills. One popular route is following the Motława around Granary Island. See three faces of Gdańsk: historical power, port of everyday life and is beautiful nature. The historical part is full of mystery and beautiful architecture of past centuries along the Old and New Motlawa. I’va had a great kayak experience here! Excellent services and the best instructor/guide ever. He’s telling the history about Gdańsk all the way, it was all worth it. He even took a video for me, he did not mind it at all. I’ll definitely go back and do it again whenever I’m here. Recommended truly.

It was really fun driving through Danzig and get some notes from our guide. Really nice guy! For everybody fearing to fall in water, don‘t bother, it‘s really safe. You will get an introduction for kayaking at first.

Couldn't be happier with the trip - the guide was great and very knowledgeable, we learn loads about the history of Gdansk all while enjoying the kayaking part

The Guide is nice and told us the story about the city. Very recommended!
